Betty Bailey and Keith J Varadi at NADA NYC 2018

Betty Bailey was born in 1939 in Antigo, Wisconsin. She has lived in Port Costa, California for the last fifty years. She has exhibited extensively since 1970 at venues such as David Stewart Gallery, Los Angeles; The Oakland Museum of California; The Richmond Art Center; The Crocker Art Museum, Sacramento; Parker Gallery, Los Angeles; Feuer/Mesler Gallery, New York; US Blues Fine Art, Brooklyn; and in Crockett, California where she and her husband Clayton Bailey run the Bailey Art Museum, open every Saturday and Sunday from 1 to 5pm.

Keith J. Varadi was born in Pittsburgh, PA in 1985. He currently lives and works in Los Angeles, CA. Varadi received his MFA from Virginia Commonwealth University in 2011 and his BFA from Rutgers University in 2008. Recent solo exhibitions include Tobias Naehring, Leipzig, Germany; Et al., San Francisco, CA; Cooper Cole, Toronto, Ontario; Night Gallery, Los Angeles, CA; Retrospective, Hudson, NY; and Smart Objects, Los Angeles, CA. His work has been written about in AQNB, ARTNews, Bad at Sports, Dallas Observer, Glasstire, Houston Press, Hyperallergic, KubaParis, LA Weekly, The New York Observer, Terremoto, and VICE. His writing has been featured in Art 21, Art in America, Carla, Kaleidoscope, LEAP, Prism of Reality, and Spike Art Quarterly. He has curated over two dozen international exhibitions and events. In 2015, he released the seven-inch record, MASK LIFE. In 2016, he released LIFE TASK, a collection of his poetry and photographs.
